Tour Details

On the day of the activity, meet at the ticket office of St. Stephen's Basilica in Pest at the agreed time to begin this guided tour. Ready to go? Here we go!

Located in the heart of Pest, this majestic Catholic Church is much more than an architectural monument. Accompanied by an expert guide, we'll tour the basilica's main hall and admire its superb works of art, monumental frescoes and the fascinating symbolic details that adorn every corner.

The highlight of our visit? Hungary's most precious religious relic: the mummified right hand of St. Stephen, Hungary's first king and an emblematic figure in the country's history. An impressive sight!

We'll then climb up to the upper balcony of the basilica. From this privileged vantage point, we'll enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of Budapest, with fascinating explanations of the iconic buildings you'll see on the horizon.

To round off the experience, you'll discover the basilica's treasury, along with other unique relics and liturgical objects that bear witness to the historical and religious richness of the site.

Finally, 1 hour later, the activity ends in the basilica square.
