Upon arrival, Zeyad from Dunas Travel tried to charge us double for the SIM cards. During the drive to the hotel, he explained the itinerary, offering changes and trying to swap some for cheaper ones. He also tried to charge us more for extra activities not included in the package than they cost through Civitatis. As for the Nile cruise, the food on the Casa Sol boat was bad, bland, and of poor quality; we got sick. The best part was the Red Sea.

Translate this opinion into English.

For those who can't dedicate a month to visiting ancient Egypt, this ALL-INCLUSIVE package is the perfect solution. You'll finally be able to travel without having to worry about a thing; they'll take care of everything. So, bring comfortable shoes, a willingness to adapt, a camera, and just be prepared for crazy hours. Unfortunately, Civitatis doesn't manage the timetable, so you'll often have to get up at 2:00 AM for an excursion and sleep in the afternoon. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

We had a very positive experience in Egypt with Civitatis. Essam, our contact, was always punctual, helpful, and attentive to our needs. We had four Italian-speaking guides, but a special mention goes to Nubi: passionate, friendly, and truly engaging in his narration of the history of ancient Egypt. The only downside was the Nile cruise, which was very slow compared to other cruises, so much so that we missed the Kom Ombo stop. It's a shame, because the rest of the trip was excellent!

Overall, the experience was incredible thanks to Mommen and Maluma. The problem was our guide in Cairo, Shaima, who kept ripping us off. She charged us €30 per person for a 20-minute camel ride and €15 for each scarf… and the same thing happened with several other things. We trusted her since she was the agency's guide, but it was a disgrace. Thanks to Mommen and Maluma, we got our money back; without them, this experience wouldn't have been the same.

Translate this opinion into English.

These 11 days in Egypt were wonderful. Civitatis organized everything for us, so we had little to think about or research in advance. The service is excellent and allows for a more relaxed vacation. The trip basically met our needs and what we were trying to organize on our own: instead, we were able to focus on other things, and actually, when you look at it all, we actually saved more than we expected and budgeted for.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Everything that was promised was delivered, and I highly recommend it. As for the guides, the one in Cairo was wonderful. We didn't like the one on the cruise because he was too sketchy, didn't pay attention to where we were, and even overcharged us for some of the extra excursions we took and suggested. In general, it would be nice if the guides were more attentive, especially with street vendors.

Translate this opinion into English.

Even though they changed the original itinerary, we ended up seeing exactly what we had planned. A Civitatis representative was always there to accompany us at every stop. The guides also spoke good Italian, were knowledgeable, and friendly. Special thanks to Zezo, who assisted us from start to finish, especially during the last few days of the trip, when we felt ill and he called a doctor to check us out. Overall, excellent value for money. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Overall, a good experience! Everything was very well organized: schedules, visits… The hotel in Cairo was quite basic, and the breakfast was poor. The hotel in Hurghada and the Nile cruise were better. You have to get up very early and the schedules are tight, but that's understandable given the amount of things to see. Opinion translated. Translate this opinion into English.

The tour is great; you visit everything on the itinerary, they pick you up at the airport, and they arrange all the hotels, activities, and trips. Excursions start very early, so you don't get much sleep, which can be tiring. Sometimes they don't give you enough information about the day's activities beforehand, as they only tell you the day itself. The guides explain things in Spanish. Opinion translated. Show original.

The 11-day Red Sea tour covers all the main sights. The guides, Esam, Ramon, and Tamer, were excellent and did a fantastic job. The only downside of the trip was the Civitatis representative's lack of communication. We found out what we were going to do from other travelers with a different representative before we learned from him. He skipped the airport escort for departure and tried to arrange it by phone. Otherwise, the trip was really good. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

My itinerary was as follows: upon arrival, I spent one night in Cairo and, the following day, took a flight to Aswan, where I embarked on a 3-day Nile cruise to Luxor. From there, I went to Hurghada, where I stayed for 3 days, and then took a flight back to Cairo, where I remained for another 4 nights. Tips: Internet: my Claro SIM card with international roaming service worked very well throughout the trip. Money: it's worth exchanging some money for Egyptian pounds. Opinion translated.

The activities were as described in the advertisement, the guides were very good, and they immersed us in the country's culture and history! One caveat regarding the package information stating that the visa and assistance upon arrival are included! Upon arriving in Cairo, we were not greeted immediately; all communication, including with local immigration, was handled independently, including the visa payment which was advertised as included! I would appreciate feedback on this aspect, which was not fulfilled as described!

Gracias. Notable is the good information from the representatives in Cairo and the possibility to change hotels by paying a supplement in Cairo. Everything went perfectly. Thank you. Opinion translated. Accompagnatori gentili e super disponibili. Rifarei altre 1000 volte! Translate this opinion into English.

Great organization, we were looked after from arrival at the airport to departure! The only flaw, but it's a subjective aspect, is that the guided tours are a bit too fast-paced: in some places you've always wanted to see, you'll want to stay a little longer to enjoy them. The guides were kind and super helpful. I would do it again 1,000 times over! Opinion translated. Show original.

Everything was excellent. Dunas, the company that organizes everything, had an excellent response to any inconvenience. It's a shame that the guide who received me wanted to charge me for dinner when it was included, and I ended up paying 5 euros for the soda, and the treatment from his side was not the best. Later, I was guided in Cairo by another guide, and Dunas was always trying to help. The Nile cruise was a 100. The other guides were excellent. I took an extra excursion with a magnificent hot air balloon.

Translate this opinion into English.

All the excursions went as planned, but there needs to be more communication with the travelers and among those coordinating each part of the trip. The guides and representatives constantly try to sell you excursions, some at exorbitant prices (in Aswan they wanted us to pay €50 for a trip to a Nubian village when other people did it on their own for €5). The best thing, outside of the Pyramids, was the cruise. Opinion translated. Show original.

Increible experiencia recorrer Egipto. An incredible experience touring Egypt. Regarding the package: the hotels, the cruise, and the food were all excellent. Everything was well-organized, from the initial visa to the return trip. We usually travel independently, but this tour was an exception, and while it wasn't the same because of the more flexible timing, it was a great experience overall. It's a demanding trip due to the early mornings for transfers and long days, but that wasn't a problem for us; we were prepared thanks to the reviews we read. Opinion translated. Show original.

We were absolutely delighted and satisfied with our tour purchase. Everything was excellent. From the moment we arrived at Cairo airport, they were already waiting for us with our visas, took us to the hotel, and even picked up dinner. They perfectly coordinated the 11 days according to our arrival and departure times. The guides were all excellent, as were the coordinators: Abdul in Cairo, Ali in Hurghada, and our guide Ahmed, who was with us on the cruise. A perfect 10! Highly recommended! Opinion translated.
