Enjoy a Private Tour of Erfurt, one of Germany's most historic and artistic cities. You'll have an exclusive guide for your group, and you can decide on the itinerary!
We'll begin this private walking tour of Erfurt at St. Mary's Cathedral, located in the heart of the historic centre of the capital of Thuringia. This beautiful temple is located opposite St. Severus Church, and together they form a collection of German Gothic masterpieces.
We'll learn about the details of this unique place in Europe, which also has the distinction of having ordained Martin Luther as a priest and of having the "Glorious". Do you know what that is?
After discovering this, we'll continue our private tour in the Town Hall Square. We'll also pass by All Saints' Church and the traditional fish market, Fischmarkt.
Next, we'll walk through the picturesque streets of the city centre until we reach the Krämerbrücke, the famous Merchants' Bridge, which is lined with inhabited houses and craft shops. To complete the tour, we'll learn about the relationship between Erfurt and Martin Luther.
Finally, after a 2-hour tour, we'll conclude the tour by returning to the same starting point or, if you prefer, we can also end the tour at any other point in the city.
By booking a private tour you can design your own itinerary. An guide, exlusively for you, will explain the history, the anecdotes and the curiosities of the places in Erfurt that you find most attractive or interesting.
